Who Am I?

I am a husband and a father of three boys who is pretty handy and has too many hobbies to count. My technical skills, passion for automation and love for all things Atlassian has gifted me the chance to travel the world to share my knowledge and skills.

I work remotely from home

In 2017, I transitioned from working in an office every day to being fully remote and working from home. I never could have imagined that this change would not only reshape how I work but also allow me to form so many meaningful human connections.

I feel so fortunate to have traveled the world sharing something I’ve poured my heart into. Along the way, I’ve met amazing people, learned from different cultures, and seen how what I’ve created connects with others in ways I never imagined. It’s been a humbling and inspiring experience that I’ll always carry with me.

I have lived in Maryland, near Baltimore, my entire life. If there’s a stereotype for someone from Maryland, I’m sure I fit it perfectly.

I work with amazing people

Working remotely has, if anything, connected me to even more people around the world. It’s given me the chance to form lifelong friendships with incredible individuals from different countries and cultures.

I love the water

I love almost everything about the water, even though I’m annoyingly prone to seasickness—a cruel joke, if you ask me. Whether it’s scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, or swimming, I jump at any chance to be near or in the water.

I am pretty handy

I’m always building something or diving into some kind of project—it's just who I am, and I can’t imagine being truly happy without it. I love solving problems and finding ways to make things better, though I have a knack for injuring myself along the way. But hey, it’s all part of the journey!

I try to run marathons when I can

I wouldn’t say I love running, but it seems running loves me. My body and mind don’t feel in sync unless I’m hitting the pavement. After stepping away from the sport for several years, I’ve been working my way back into it. Unfortunately, true to form, I’ve managed to push myself a bit too hard and am currently sidelined by an injury. It’s a setback, but part of the process.

I love a good adventure

I absolutely love sharing adventures with my family, who might just be as adventurous (and maybe as crazy) as I am. Whether we’re exploring new places, tackling unexpected challenges, or simply creating our own chaos, every experience with them is full of laughter, unforgettable moments, and a healthy dose of unpredictability. They make every journey even more special.
